Dear Reader , I just wanted to send a little encouragement your way on your financial journey. If things aren’t going exactly to plan this month—trust me, you’re not alone! Every month, I plan to sit down with my husband and complete our intentional spending plan before the new month begins. But sometimes, life happens. This time, we didn’t get around to it until mid-month! And even then, it was far from smooth sailing. Just as we finally sat down to go through the numbers, our teenager walked in needing answers to life’s big (and small) questions. Then, a neighbour popped by unexpectedly (which never happens!). Despite all the interruptions—and me trying not to get impatient—we kept going. It wasn’t the best money date we’ve ever had, but we reviewed our spending plan and talked about our money goals for the final week of the month. Not perfect, but good enough! So if you’re feeling behind or like things aren’t going as planned, take heart. Progress beats perfection every time. Have you managed to complete your intentional spending plan for February? Hit reply and let me know how it went—I’d love to hear! Cheering you on,

Hi Reader , I believe true financial wealth is built in the quiet moments—the ones where we choose to do what’s important, even when it’s not urgent. Things like reviewing your finances, tracking your spending patterns, setting up sinking funds, or finally starting that emergency fund—none of it screams for your attention. But those quiet tasks? They’re the ones that make the biggest difference over time. That’s why I’m such a fan of “money dates”—just 20 minutes a month to take intentional...
