The Fund That Stopped Our Money Arguments đź’ˇ

Dear Reader ,

Picture this: I’ve just booked a relaxing spa day, and my husband’s Amazon parcels are arriving at the door. No stress. No awkward questions. We know exactly where the money is coming from.

The secret? Our “No Questions Asked” fund!

Here’s how it works:

  • Decide on a monthly budget for individual treats or purchases.
  • Set up separate accounts for each of you, and fund them monthly from your Intentional Spending Plan.
  • Use it guilt-free—spa days, hobbies, or even those spontaneous Amazon buys.

Now, we don’t have to justify where the money’s going or feel guilty about indulging. It’s our own little slice of freedom, all while staying aligned with our financial goals.

Many people believe that when you have a budget, you can't have any fun. You can't go out. You can't spend any money. It's just not true! You can have a category line for fun. Set aside some money where you can spend without feeling guilty.

It’s really helped us, and I know that when you add a category line for fun, it will help you too! A No Questions Asked fund is a personal spending allowance for each partner, with no explanations needed. It creates freedom and eliminates unnecessary tension, letting you enjoy your spending without guilt or second-guessing.
